What are Tags?

A tag is a relevant keyword or term associated with or assigned to a piece of information (like a video clip, audio clip, or manual), thus describing the item and enabling keyword-based classification of information it is applied to.

For Free IQ, tags are assigned by the Content Provider as they submit their content. Typically, an item will have one or more "tags" associated with it as part of the classification software or system. With Free IQ, there are five primary tags for each product, which allows for very specific search results, as well as the opportunity to identify related content.

Free IQ's 5 primary tags display next to each product listing on the search results page. Furthermore, tags that match the search term will be bold as is the case if the search term is present in the description or title. In addition, our related tags displayed under the search bar represent tags people have given their product that match in some way to what the search request input is.
